Carmen Kotula: Missing woman from Connecticut Found

UPDATE: Carmen’s body was found Sunday near the Kent border.  No foul play was suspected, police said.

Carmen Kotula, 52, from Cromwell, Connecticut has been missing since February 24.  She told a neighbor that she was leaving to go to Minnesota to find a job and a place to live, but didn’t say when she was going. 

Then on February 27, her car was found on River Road in Kent, near the Appalachian trail in Litchfield county near the New York State border.

 Her chocolate lab was found roaming near her car on Thursday, and her boxer was found on February 24, and is now at the Sharon Animal shelter.

There has been no action on her credit cards or cellular phone, and it has been turned  off for 8 days.

Carmen is 5’8″ tall, 230 pounds with short light hair.
