UPDATE:  May 8, 2012 –  Joshua’s remains were found last Friday in Berry Creek  according to the sheriff’s office.

A Berry Creek resident turned in an item that was determined to be part of a human skeleton. Sheriff’s detectives and Sheriff’s Search and Rescue personnel searched the remote area of Berry Creek and located skeletal remains near Harrison Springs Road.

Josh’s vehicle was also found off the road in a wooded area near where the body was found. The cause of death has not been determined.

Josh Richardson, 29, was last seen leaving his mom’s home in Thermalito, California on Sunday morning 4-9-12 around 6:00 a.m.  He left his wallet and medication at home and nobody has heard anything from him or seen him.

Josh is 5’10 about 180lbs black hair and green eyes. He is a Navy vet and suffering from PTSD. He left in his car, a silver 2001 Lincoln LS, 4 door, tinted back window, missing the front bumper, big dent in the rear and missing a tail light. License plate #4TRE880.

He is possible wearing white shorts.
