Instead, prosecutors say Holland drove to Kent’s workplace, picked him up, then drove to a secluded area off of Rangeline Road where the rape occurred.Kent was charged for the alleged attack on his niece after Holland killed himself with a bullet to the head – and his daughter told her tale of being violated in front of her father’s eyes to police, the Mobile Register newspaper reported.

“The family is devastated just as any family would be to learn that some of their relatives have actually been arrested on charges of this magnitude,” said Tony Dickey.
UPDATE: Is Brittney in Grand Bay, Alabama? The search has been moved to that location. Brittney has many friends in that area. Could she be there?
The latest report is that Brittney’s cell phone was turned on six days after she was reported missing.
It seems very likely she was the one that turned her phone on, and was keeping it charged, but we may find out differently.

Brittney Wood, 19, from Tillmans Corner near Theodore, Alabama has not been seen since May 31. Follow this link to read more.
Brittney, who is a single mother, told her family she was going to a house near Styx River to see her uncle Donnie Holland. Her uncles’ home is 40 miles away so her family knows someone must have given her a ride.
The following day Donnie left the home near Styx River to go to his home in Fairhope, where he committed suicide.
“Her uncle has committed suicide and supposedly he was the last one she was with and so we’re worried about that,” said Wallace Hanke, Brittney’s father.
Brittney’s cell phone pinged near that area.
“This was the last place her phone was ‘pinged’,” says her dad. “They found the signal bouncing off one of these towers and we haven’t talked to her in over a week. We need some help finding her.”
