David Lundy: Child missing from New Jersey Found

UPDATE: June 19, 2012, David has been found safe.  A tip came in that said they had been seen at a McDonald’s in Florence, S.C.  The Florence Sheriff’s Dept. took Morris Lundy into custody on a kidnapping warrant.  The boy is doing well and has no medical issues.

Police are searching for David Lundy, 5, who was taken on Friday by his grandfather, Morris “Tommy” Lundy, 50, of New York.  They went missing around 6:30 p.m. from 465 Meadow Road in West Windsor township in New Jersey.

David has asthma. 

Investigators stated Lundy, a resident of New York, may still be in the area or he may have traveled to Brooklyn or Binghamton, N.Y.

 Authorities described David Lundy as a light-skinned African American boy, with short, sandy hair, approximately 3 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 55 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white and green shirt and blue cargo shorts.

The boy’s grandfather, Morris Lundy, is described as an African American male, 5’ 10”, 180 pounds, with hazel eyes. He was last seen with a shaved head, police said.
