Barbara Grohs: Missing Person Connecticut Found

UPDATE: Barbara was found deceased in a wooded area on Park Terrace.   The cause of death was asphyxia, or suffocation, caused by neck compression, according to a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office. The death was ruled a suicide, the spokeswoman said.

Waterbury Police Capt. Chris Corbett said Grohs’ body was found in a wooded area near Park Terrace between Rt. 8 and Riverside Street, near a home.

Previous story: Barbara Grohs, 62, from Waterbury, CT., missing since July 30th.  She was wearing a white shirt and dark-colored Capri pants.  Barbara is 5’3″ tall, 160 pounds, green eyes and brown hair.  She was last seen in the Highland Avenue area.
