Wayne Lien: Senior missing in Arizona Found

UPDATE:  12/17/12 –
Mesa police say an 86-year-old man reported missing since Sunday morning has been found safe.

Wayne Ellsworth Lien, 86,  left his home  in Mesa, Arizona around 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec 15, 2012 to go to Walgreens driving his gray 2003 Dodge van with Arizona license plate 202MMK.

Lien is currently on medication that helps him swallow food but does not have the medication with him, and he is showing signs of memory loss.  His credit card was last used at 10:45 a.m. at Queen Creek.  Police say Lien has never been to Queen Creek before and his wife is unsure where he would try to go, reports ABC 15 news.

Lien is reportedly very stubborn and will not stop to ask for directions. His wife believes he is lost and cannot find his way home.

He was last seen wearing beige pants and an unknown colored shirt.  He is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 102 pounds and has blue eyes and gray hair.

The police are asking the public to look for him and to call Det. C. Cover with the Mesa Department at 480-644-2211 if they see him.
