Lili High kidnapped from father’s home Found

UPDATE:  4/8/13 – Lili Justine High was found about 2:15 p.m. with a family member in the Kansas City area.  Police declined to say which family member she had been with when she was found.

On Monday, the police are still searching for a missing Gladstone, Mo. girl that was
kidnapped on Sunday night.

Lili Justine High was taken from her home by a friend of her parents around 9:25 p.m., reports the Kansas City Star. Lili was at her father’s house when he left the room he heard a commotion. When he came back in the room, Lili was gone along with a 38-year-old homeless woman, Tami Kelly AKA Tammi J. Lampkins, reports KSHB news.

Then early Monday morning, Lampkins, called the police and told them where she was. When they arrived at the Northland apartment complex off of NE Parvin Road in Kansas City, she was alone and did not have Lili. She was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

“Hopefully she’s not being harmed,” High’s grandmother Patti Winders told KMBC news. “I don’t know why anyone would take her like that.”

 

Lili’s mother, Christina R. Willbanks of Gladstone, that authorities stated was homeless, has not been located and Lili’s father said he had not seen her for several months. Whether Lili is with Willbanks is unknown.

Lili is 3 feet tall with long blonde hair. She is missing her four top front teeth. She was wearing black and red spandex pants and a yellow short-sleeve shirt and no shoes.
