Erika Lango: Woman missing from Delano Found

UPDATE:  12/4/13 –  The police have confirmed that the body pulled from a Delano canal belongs to Erika Padron Lango, 26.  Erika had been missing since October 9 after she was seen walking away from her apartment.  A surveillance video saw her making a purchase at an AM/Pm in Delano and then driving away in her family’s vehicle. She was seen in the video with her husband at the convenience store.

Erika was last seen by the husband, Julio Lango around 10 p.m. that night when she left their apartment to visit a friend, he said.  She never arrived at the friend’s home, nor show up for work the next day.

The vehicle of her estranged husband, Julio Lango was impounded by police on Friday.

“The family saw some stains inside the vehicle,” said Sgt. Peter Lopez.  “We don’t know what they are.  They could be anything.”

Erika Lango is 5’4″ tall, 125 pounds, brown eyes and straight long brown hair.  She has a tattoo on her right should that says “Julio” and was wearing black sandals, blue sweatpants and a blue or pink sweater top.
