Patricia Thomas: Senior missing from Bellevue Found

UPDATE:  12/27/13 – Des Moines police say a caller recognized Pat’s vehicle and called police with the information and Pat was found and is now safe.

Patricia Thomas, 89, from Bellevue, Wash. has been missing since Friday night.  She did not return home from running errands.

She is known to leave her home int he afternoon and stopping at Chace’s Pancake Corral to eat and then shop in Overlake and at the Rite Aid in Bellevue.

Pat does have some memory loss and may have gotten lost and may be driving her silver 2009 Chevrolet Aveo with Washington plates 531 YKK.  Those that suffer from Alzheimer’s are known to NOT ask for directions and to keep driving and driving trying to find their own way home.  She may even stop at a gas station and fill up her car and continue to drive more, so keep an eye out for her car, too. 

Pat is 5’3″ tall and 100 pounds.  She keeps her hair in a ponytail and often wears sweatpants and tennis shoes.  Police ask that you call 911 immediately if you’ve located Thomas.
