UPDATE 4/12/14 -Talladega County Coroner Shaddix Murphy said state troopers located the body of Angela Owings Whitworth, 51, this afternoon about 4 p.m. in a ravine off Wiregrass Road in the Talladega National Forest.

The body was about 200 yards away from where her car was found.

Angela Whitworth, 51, is missing from Fayetteville, Alabama.

She was last seen on Tuesday, April 8.  She told her family she was headed to B.B. Comer Memorial School to pick up her school transcripts, but she never made it to the school, and she has not been seen or heard from since.

Her vehicle is a red 1991 Ford Aerostar van, with Alabama license NG21691.
