Mary Coulthard: Missing from Janesville Found

UPDATE:  5/12/14 – An autopsy revealed that a body found near Rock River was Mary’s. The report stated she died of drowning, but suffered a fresh wound prior to that, reports WREX. At this time they do not know if the injury came from an accident or foul play.  Her purse was found in the area of Jackson Street on Saturday, with some items missing.

UPDATE 5/9/14 –  A woman’s body was found behind approximately 15 to 20 feet from the shore of Rock River, but police did not identified it as Mary.  Searchers found Mary’s water bottle on Rock River Bridge south of the area where the body was found.  At this writing, they don’t believe the body is Mary because the person appears younger.

Previous Story:  Mary L. Coulthard, 75, has been missing from Janesville, Wis. since Saturday.  Authorities state she was last seen on Friday.  She is known to travel by public transportation and her last known whereabouts was the 200 block of North Main Street at about 9 p.m.

She is 5’2″ tall, 150 pounds with gray hair and hazel eyes and was wearing blue jeans, white shoes and a light blue sweater.
