Kayla Butler: 13-year-old missing from Milwaukee Found

UPDATE:  10/29/14 – Milwaukee police say Kayla has been found safe. Officials say she was located in the neighborhood near 24th and Hadley just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28th.

Previous story:  Kayla Butler, 13, from Milwaukee, Wis. has been missing since Wed. Oct. 22nd.

Kayla wanted to go to the community center but her father, Lewis Butler  told her there was no one to pick her up and she was to stay home. 

“Stay home, do your homework, watch TV, lock the door.  I’ll be back in a couple hours, She took her meeds, she had ate something and she seemed relaxed and cam when I left,”  Lewis told Fox 6 news.  He then left to return in a couple of hours.  When he got back Kayla was gone. 

Kayla according to her dad has ADHD and some autistic traits, and is mentally younger than 13.   Kayla had been missing before for five hours and her father found she had been on the internet talking with people he did not know. 

Lewis took away her internet and gave her a phone that could dial 911, but she has not used it to call the police.
