UPDATE 1/23/16 – Police stated today that a surveillance video shows a man who likely was Zachary going into the water from a bridge near the Charles River Dam.

“The video shows a male heading toward the water and disappearing,” said Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. “We believe that is him. It’s a sad case.”

Divers are currently searching the waters.

Original Story:  Zachary Marr, 22, a full-time Harvard student was seen boarding the train in Littleton on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016.  His dad had dropped him off and Zachary was going to Boston to visit his cousins on his birthday.  Marr texted his dad to tell him he was onboard and his dad drove off.  A surveillance video shows Zachary outside the Bell in Hand bar near Faneuil Hall on Saturday.  He was sending Snapchats and was having a great time.  He texted his cousin that he couldn’t get back into the bar as it was closing.  Amanda Marr went outside to get him but he was gone.  Zachary has not been seen since.  Zachary’s bank account has not been touched and the police have no leads to where he might be. Zachary’s father, Matt, told the Boston Globe that Zachary was very close to his grandmother who died last month.  They were planning on cleaning out her apartment on Saturday but spent the day searching for Zachary instead.  Matt has the support of his family and friends, and the community as they post posters and try to find Zachary.  Matt has asked his son publicly to please contact him.  If you have any information on his whereabouts, please call the Boston or Harvard Police Dept. or leave a tip here.
