North Little Rock woman reported missing; found in home after second look

rocklinrachaner4/23/16  An Arkansas woman was reported missing on Thursday, April 14 by her friends. The North Little Rock Police Department went to the home of Rocklin “Rock” Rachaner, 59, at 703 ½ W. 34th St. in North Little Rock to check on her well-being after a friend was unable to make contact with her since Tuesday. The police found no one there and she was reported as a missing person.  The police believed her disappearance to be suspicious because her purse, cell phone and car keys were found locked inside the house and her clothes were laid out indicating she was getting ready to go to work.

Her last communication on Facebook was at 7:48 Tuesday morning, butshe never came to work at her job at Plant Services that day.

Over the week, her friends canvassed the neighborhood putting up missing posters in hopes to find her.rockrachanerposter

The following week the police returned to Rock’s home to see if they could find additional clues to her whereabouts. As they searched they found Rock was there all along. She was laying on the ground behind a TV stand and was deceased.

“Where she fell was very hard to find,” Sgt. Brian Dedrick told THV 11 news.

The police have determined she has probably been there since she was first reported missing.

An autopsy will be done to determine her cause of death.
