13-year-old mom and her infant son missing from Illinois FOUND

9/24/16 – Katherine and her son, Christopher have been found safe, thanks to the help of coal truck drivers that sent the police tips.  LEO was able to narrow down their location and saw Christopher on a surveillance video after he used a credit card in Kanawha County on Friday.

9/21/16 -Police have issued a nationwide warrant for Christopher Derleth’s arrest.  An amber alert has been issued in West Virginia.

9/19/16 – Katherine Derleth, 13, and her infant son, Christopher is missing from Edwardsville, Ill.

The media is stating now they may have been abducted by Christopher Derleth, 39, and driving to West Virginia in a green Mercury Villager SUV with plates  E83-3210.

“We have also obtained arrest warrants for Mr. Derleth on Class X felonies of aggravated kidnapping, and a Class 4 felony of child abduction,” says Capt. Mike Dixon, spokesman for Madison County Sheriff’s Department.

The paternity of the child has not been established.
derlethKatherine Derleth is described as a 4’8″ 95-pound white female with brown eyes and brown hair. She has three birthmarks on her right knee.

Christopher Ray Derleth, a two-week-old white male who is 21 inches long and 8 pounds, 3 ounces with brown hair and dark eyes.
