Corey Flannigan missing after car found crashed

Corey Michael Flannigan, 26, from Spokane was reported missing on Thursday, May 4.  The last contact anyone had with him was on May 2, in Kalispell, Montana.  He travel to Montana for a job and told his finance, Roxanne King that he was going to check into the Red Lion Hotel around 9 p.m.  He never showed up at the job and he has not spoken with King since.  King stated that Corey was driving a red 2017 Hyundai Elantra.  According to the police the car that Flannigan was driving was found crashed on Rose Crossing where it had been in an accident, and state the car was stolen.  But, a friend of Corey and Kings state the car was a rental car and it was reported stolen because Flannigan did not bring it back.

The police are actively working the case, but the police believe Corey, “just wants to be missing,” and called the crash suspicious.

Although we are not privy to all the information that the authorities know, King is positive that Corey is not missing on purpose.  His wallet and cell phone was found in the car.

As many stories I have done in the past of vehicle accidents and missing people, there is a chance that Corey may have a head injury and could be wandering.

Corey’s finance has gone to social media to post about Corey, and spread the word he is missing:

Flannigan is described as a male 6’ tall, weighing 190 pounds with light brown shaved hair and blue eyes.

If you have any information about where Flannigan is please contact the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 758-5585.
