Jaydon was found by NOPD officers when they responded to a call of a female overdosing. The person turned out to be Jacquencia Hall the person that Jaydon’s mother left him with. Hall is recovering in the hospital.
Original Story: Jaydon Mcmillan, 1, went missing from Marrero, Louisiana on May 29, 2017. Jaydon was at a Memorial Day party with family with his mother, Braneka Williams when he went missing, reported the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. Braneka told the authorities that she left Jaydon with her cousin, Jacquencia Hall, so she could go lie down and she has not seen Jaydon since.
She began searching fro him around 9 p.m. that night and called the police around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning when they could not locate Jaydon.
WWL reported that Sheriff’s office spokesman Col. John Fortunate said, “Ms. Williams reported she was suffering from a headache and decided to lay down for a while. At the time, her cousin, identified as Jaquencia Hall B/F, 29 of 1022 Dimarco Drive in Marrero was watching her son. Braneka Williams continued by saying she did not know her child was missing until later that evening around 9:00 PM. It was then she and other family members began searching the area of Acre Road and Lincoln Ave in hopes of locating her son. Ms. Williams and the maternal grandmother of Jaydon could offer no reasonable explanation as to why they elected not to report the child missing for twelve hours.”
Neighbors told police they saw Hall get into a car with Jaydon. So far, Hall has not been located either.
