Police searching for woman wanted for attempted abduction of children in South Carolina


The Irmo Police Department is asking for the publics help to identifying a person of interest in an attempted abduction.

An incident occurred on Sept. 27, 2017 around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Friarsgate Boulevard and North Royal Tower Drive in Irmo, South Carolina when an unknown woman pulled over her red car and approached an 11-year-old boy riding his bike and asked him politely to get into her car.

The description of the woman was the same and the authorities believe it is the same women in the two incidences. ┬áThe woman is described as a white female driving a red four-door car. She was wearing “scrub style” tops with flowers and teddy bear prints.
