School teacher missing from Chattanooga FOUND

UPDATE 11/8/17 –  The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office are stating that Eaton is fine and have closed the case.  They determined by looking at security video form nearby business showing Eaton doing routine activities that he is fine, not a victim and nor in danger.  Glad to hear this but I have not heard of police closing a case without actually speaking to the missing person.  Maybe that occurred and they are not stating it.

John Eaton, 44, a second-grade teacher at Chattanooga School for Arts and Sciences has been missing since Sunday, November 5, 2017, from Chattanooga, Tenn.  John told his wife, Melissa that he was going to the school around 5:30 p.m. to prepare for Monday, but the school surveillance camera shows he was never there.

Eaton is described as 5’10” tall, with sandy brown hair.  He was last seen wearing a gray Star Wars shirt with blue jeans and Converse shoes.  He was last seen driving a 2007 Silver Kia Sedona with a few dents.   The license plate is 464 QXR with Disney and Star Wars stickers.

On Tuesday members of the community walked and searched the area for John.

If you have any information on John Eaton’s whereabouts, please call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office at 423-209-7000.
