On March 5, 2011, Marizela Perez, 18, was heading to the University of Washington‘s Seattle campus to meet friends for lunch and study at the library. She left her home and the family believes she got on a train at the Othellow station.
Marizela’s parents tried to reach her all weekend and then filed a missing person report on Sunday.
“I was with her that morning and then I left and she left. I don’t know if she made it to school that day. She seemed fine that day. Everything was going well. I wish I knew more,” said Marizela’s cousin, Joy Mendoza.
