Missing Person Illinois Melissa Best

UPDATE:  Sherrie Best, Melissa Best’s sister-in-law, faces one count of drug-induced homicide and one count of concealing a death involving a homicide. Sherrie Best’s husband, Charles Best, faces the same charge of concealing a death. Charles Best is the brother of Melissa Best’s husband, Clint. More information can be found here.

UPDATE:  Melissa was found deceased in her van on April 25.

Melissa Best, 34, is missing from Round Lake Park, Illinois.  She was last seen on Friday, April 15, 2011 when she dropped off her 15-year-old daughter at a friend’s house.  Melissa was driving a green Pontiac minivan with gray trim.  Illinois license plate A770405.

“This is not consistent of any kind of past behavior,” said Round Lake Park Police Chief George Filenko said. “This is highly uncharacteristic.”

Melissa was wearing a gray hooded pullover with “Chicago” printed on the front and blue jeans and she has brownish-blonde hair and hazel-colored eyes. She is 5-foot 4-inches tall.
