UPDATE:  Cindy was found safe.

Fresno police are investigating the disappearance of a missing Fresno woman, Cindy Sambueso, 50.

On Tuesday, Cindy dropped off her daughter at home and went to her business as a massage therapist  for an appointment.  Cindy is a certified Karuna and Usui Reiki Master and works on people and animals.

Cindy was also featured on a news story on ABC30 in 2008 where she explained the Reiki technique on an injured horse.

When a client arrived at her office for their appointment at 3:30 p.m., the office was dark and no one was there.

Cindy’s cellphone was inside the office but her purse and car were gone along with her appointment book.

Cindy’s ex-husband, Robert, received text messages from Cindy around 11:15 a.m.
