According to the Huffington Post, Jessica was found about 15 miles east of Cannon Beach off a logging road when a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter spotted her vehicle there.
KATU News said that Jessica had been arrested on Sunday as a suspect in the murder of her daughter and attempted murder of her other daughter.

Previous story:  Police are searching for missing Jessica Smith, 40 from Goldendale, Wash., after her 2-year-old daughter was found dead and 13-year-old daughter was found severely injured in a room at a Cannon Beach hotel.

Jessica checked into the Oregon hotel with the two children on Wednesday.  Her estranged husband and the children’s father, Gregory Smith was located in Washington.  He is not considered a suspect. 

The police are asking for the public to keep an eye out for Jessica who may be driving her 2007 gold Chevy Suburban with WA license plate APX3141.  If you see her or the vehicle, please call the Cannon Beach police at 503-436-2811.
