Dan Ha: Another missing man from San Francisco Found

UPDATE:  11/12/14 – Joseph Ha, Dan Ha’s younger brother, said a body recovered north of Alcatraz was not in recognizable condition, but that clothes, wallet contents and a phone found with the body appear to have belonged to his sibling.

Dan Ha, 26, is missing from San Francisco since Halloween.  He was last seen at his South of Market apartment on Fourth and Brannan streets around  8 p.m.

He called in sick Friday to his job at Metromile where he works as an iOS developer and did not show up for a company event over the weekend.

Dan is another of many other young man that has gone missing as there are 16 other men around that same age group that are missing (two of these men Paulo and Derrick pictured in the poster were located).  At first it was believed there were 5 missing Frisco men, but after I did some research I found so many more and they were all around the same age and missing from around the same area.  See list below:

Dan is 6’1″ tall, 210 pounds with brown eyes and black hair and he was wearing a red sweatshirt.  Dan does have dizzy spells and it causes him to have trouble talking.

If you see him, please call the police at 415-553-1373.

I wrote up this list in November 2013 and if some of these men have been recovered please let me know.  Please note this list goes back to 2010.  You may also like the Missing Texas Forty story where over 40 people at last call have been missing from two small county’s in Texas.

“I did find some interesting information about Alaska, that is nicknamed the Land of the Lost.  Alaska in 2005 had 650,000 people in the whole state, less than the city of San Francisco, but comparable to the combined population of Montgomery and Liberty counties.   According to the LA Times, “on average, 5 of every 1,000 people go missing every year, roughly double the national rate…Alaska has the highest percentage of people who stay missing” with a compiled list of 1,100 people who “remain” lost.”

The last two Paulo and Derrick have been found.
