UPDATE 2/27/16 – WKMG-TV reports Taraji Kemp was found alive in Orlando and is at a hospital, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. Several hours ago, the police wanted to speak with Stephanie Augustin, 23, of Fort Pierce. She was located around the same time the baby was found, and the police have not released anymore information.
An Amber Alert has been issued out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. for a 2-month-old baby named Taraji Kemp. Taraji was last seen in the 2700 block of NW 14th Court. The police are stating she was kidnapped by two unknown men. One white and one black. Broward County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Joy Oglesby says Taraji Kemp and her mother were asleep at a Fort Lauderdale home at about 11 p.m. Friday when intruders broke into the house and took the girl, reports News4JAX.
Taraji was wearing a pink onesie and she has a birthmark on her chest. She is 22-inches long and 14 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
A search of the area with search dogs did not locate Taraji. Police state she may be traveling in a dark-colored Nissas sedan with the two unknown men.
