UPDATE 4/5/16 – Douglas County investigators tell WOWT 6 News that an overturned pickup with three bodies inside was found near 180th and Blondo. Robert Baker’s girlfriend said that one of the bodies was of her boyfriend, but the other two bodies identifies have not been confirmed.
Original story: Three friends, Robert Baker, Patricia Padron and Jonathan Rodriguez have gone missing in Nebraska. They all went out to dinner and drinks on Saturday and they have not been seen since.
Family spoke to WOWT6 news and said they know they visited La Mesa in west Omaha on Saturday night and then went to the Old Dundee. Patricia sent a Snapchat picture and a surveillance video shows all three of them there. They left at 2 a.m. Robert’s 2013 diesel Chevy pickup truck is also missing. The family is wondering if they have gotten stuck somewhere or gone into a ditch, especially since Robert liked to travel off road and dirt roads.
“This is not them. We’ve looked, we’ve called friends, friends have taken off of work. I mean we just don’t know where else to look, said Baily Ellenwood, Robert’s girlfriend.
Robert Baker, 22, is from Elkhart, Patricia Padron is of Grand Island and Jonathan Rodriguez of Grand Island. Ellenwood also said that Robert would not miss work and Padron had a young child that she was suppose to pick up from her mother that was babysitting. Friends and family have looked on the back roads around Elkhorn. They’ve asked that people search in and around Dundee.
The truck that is missing is a gray ¾ ton 2013 Chevy truck 2500 with the driver’s mirror broken. Plates are 29-4371.
