3-year-old missing from Spencer, Virginia FOUND

masonryanUPDATE 4/28/16 – William Ryan, 27, Tammy Stowe, the parents of Mason Ryan were charged with one felony count of child neglect and one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession. “Citing court documents, WSLS-TV ( http://bit.ly/1qXt90c ) reports that the family’s home was infested with cockroaches, full of trash and covered in animal feces from chickens that were housed in a bedroom.”

4/26/16 – Mason has been found safe about three miles from his home. Banjo’s barking led the searchers to him.

4/25/16 – Three-year-old Mason Ryan was reported missing from Wagon Trail Road in Spencer in Henry County, Va., just before 6 p.m.  Sheriff Lane Perry says he was last seen with a dog and wearing a Batman shirt. “Mason’s mother stepped into another room, and when she returned, he along with the small brown dog were gone,” reported WBDJ news.

He is wearing a gray shirt with Batman on it and blue and yellow checkered shorts.  He has short brown hair.  The dogs name is Banjo.

Virginia State Police, along with fire and rescue, and volunteers are assisting the Henry County Sheriff’s Office with the search.
