Texas Cowboy Hall of Famer missing from Texas

Ervin Matthew Brittnacher, 82, from Alvin, Texas was last seen on Nov. 7, 2015 in the 3000 block of McFarland Road in League City, Texas. Brittnacher’s son, Mark Brittnacher, takes lunch and medication to his dad every day.  On that day he was not at home.  He searched the area then called the police which also searched the area.  Ervin was wearing a red plaid shirt and tan pants with red and white shoes.  He has trouble walking because he is missing toes on one foot.  He has Alzheimer’s and dementia.

On Dec. 4, 2012, Ervin was asleep when he heard his screen door being torn open and someone beating on the door about 5:45 a.m., reports Click2Houston.  The intruder, later identified as Charles Smith came into his house and was carrying a rifle. Ervin “karate-chopped” Smith in the throat, took the rifle and closed the door then called the police.  If you have any information, please call the League City Police at 281-332-2566.
