Devon Bond

UPDAYE 11/14/19  The skeletal remains of Devin Bond have been found.  On Wednesday, searchers had found human remains in the Barfield area in the same area Devin’s cell phone last pinged.  The remains were found in heavily wooded terrain, Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh said.  His mom posted on Facebook. “We are devastated at the loss of our son, Devin. Our goal was to bring Devin home and we are bringing him home, just not in the way we had hoped. Rest In Peace sweet boy and we will be counting the days until we are together again. Thank you to Detective Pinson, Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department and all the searchers that helped locate our son, we are forever grateful.”

Original Story – Devin Bond was last seen on March 30, 2017 from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and has been reported missing by his family. On that morning his family found pillows and towels arranged under the sheets of his bed.  He has not been heard or seen since. His phone last pinged in the Tiger Hill area of Murfreesboro, which according to the Bring Devon Home Facebook pages means “but the ping info showed his phone was appx 1.8 miles southwest of that tower meaning he wasn’t at the actual tower. 1.8 miles puts the phone near the middle area of Barfield Crescent Rd.”

Bring Devin Home’s Facebook page has this message:

We need everyone to check their entire property. Please search in barns, garages, sheds, motor homes, old cars, bushes, etc.

We need anyone that drove on Barfield Crescent Road on March 31st between 4am and 5am to please contact the police. You may have seen something or Devin and not even realized it.

Devin is enrolled at Riverdale High; however, he came from Rockvale Middle School. Therefore, he knows kids that attend Blackman High. ALL parents at these three schools need to sit down and talk to their kids.

If you own a business on the Barfield/Rockvale side of town and have outside cameras, please check them for the morning of March 31st.

If you are able to print flyers or donate towards the cause, please contact us.
