Remains have been found in a West Virginia barn on June 4, 2019. The police were at the location after their investigation lead them to the property of Jack Maddy on Shriver Avenue in Raleigh, reports WVNSTV.
“Fayette county received a report of a missing person. Through some investigation on their end, they were able to find out that the missing person’s last known location was in Raleigh County,” authorities said.
According to court documents, Maddy told the police that the missing person had left, but when they returned on Thursday he told the police the MP had died of an overdose. He said he tried to revive the victim, but he was not successful, so he moved the man’s body to the barn and covered it with blankets and a tarp.
The remains have been taken to the State Medical Examiner for a positive identification.
The police have not released the name of the missing person, but the report was filed out of Fayetteville County, and the person had been missing since March, 2019.
